Cultural Applications:Yellow gets your attention with traffic signs, taxi cabs, and predicts caution and action to be taken ahead. In Italy, every 8th of March “la festa della donna” (International Women’s Day) is celebrated where the men offer small sprigs of the brightly yellow colored mimosa flower to women. The mimosa flower is a symbol of vitality and joy.
